Started by two childhood friends in 2002, this small Connecticut company produces what we consider the two finest hot cereals we’ve tried. Their “Rolled Oats” (think organic oatmeal) will make you soon forget about the oatmeal you grew up on. You know the one – it tastes like the cardboard it comes in. Not Bear Naked Rolled Oats. For organic cold cereal, try Nature’s Path. These folks have been around for over 20 years, and do a great job with their entire line. Their organic corn flakes are an excellent way to start your day. Looking for something that the kids will eat that’s not full of refined sugar and unnecessary fats? Check out their “Enviro-Kidz” line. They are certified organic cold cereals that use organic evaporated cane juice for sweetener. They come in the shapes and flavor’s kids have come to love, so you won’t have to fight your youngsters to eat them.
